Friday Scout Programme – Summer 2024

Meeting times are 7.30-9pm in the Scout Hall and 7-8.30pm in Bonaly School unless noted otherwise.

Please note Scouts don’t need phones at Scouts and we don’t wish to see any phones in use while at Scouts.

For Bonaly School, please use the door into the main hall from Bonaly Grove.

If you cannot make it to a meeting, please let us know before the meeting by emailing:

Please wear scout uniform (shirt and necker) unless told otherwise and bring a full water bottle.  When full uniform is not required, please wear your necker.

18 – 19 January – Brass Monkey camp, Bonaly Scout Centre

28 February – 2 March – Indoor camp, Lapwing Lodge, Paisley

2 – 5 May – Adventure camp, Strathallan Castle, Auchterarder (aimed at older Scouts capable of camping and cooking independently in tent groups)

30 May – 1 June – Patrol camp, Barrwood, Denny (dates and location provisional, both to be confirmed)

3 – 8 August – Summer camp, UK (dates and location provisional, both to be confirmed)

24 July – 4 August 2027 – Haarlem Jamborette – International camp, the Netherlands

 

 

 

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
