Friday Scout Programme – Summer 2024

Meeting times are 7.30-9pm in the Scout Hall and 7-8.30pm in Bonaly School unless noted otherwise.

Please note Scouts don’t need phones at Scouts and we don’t wish to see any phones in use while at Scouts.

For Bonaly School, please use the door into the main hall from Bonaly Grove.

If you cannot make it to a meeting, please let us know before the meeting by emailing:

Please wear scout uniform (shirt and necker) unless told otherwise and bring a full water bottle.  When full uniform is not required, please wear your necker.

 

Autumn Term

 

6th September

As – Race Around the World (Edinburgh Edition)

Please meet at Edinburgh Park Station Tram stop at 6:45pm.  (This is the tram stop next to Edinburgh Park railway station, near to TK Maxx in Hermiston Gait) Remember to bring your bus pass (Young Scot card), water if you’ll need it and wear full Scout uniform plus coat as will be outside all evening.  Scouts to be collected from Scout Hall at 9pm.

B’s  – Scientist Badge. Meet at Scout Hall

Please could you bring to Scouts tonight,  1 – 2 empty plastic bottles ( 2 litre or smaller).

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
